About Me: The Memoirs of a Redhead

My wonderful life began on January 18th in sunny Southern California. From the day I came out of the womb with fiery red hair, my parents knew I would be trouble. In most of my baby photos, I can be seen with a screaming, deep red face - I have always had a bit of a temper. My parents would tell you that I'm stubborn (true), annoying (also true), and a know-it-all (somewhat true). But they would also tell you that I am passionate and persistent. No matter what the task, I give it my all. I physically can't half-ass something if I know I can do better. When it comes to school, I have always made it my job to complete every assignment to the best of my ability. Outside of my vigorous academic lifestyle, much of my time is spent with my friends. My motto has always been "Quality over quantity." Although I do not have a huge friend group back home, the friends I do have may as well be family. I have known all of my good friends since I was 12 or even younger. They are all just as weird and energetic as myself, and I wouldn't trade them for the world. Aside from my wonderful friends, I spend a lot of time with my golden retriever. My dog Cody is one of the best things to ever happen to me. Ever since the day we adopted him, I knew he was my dog. I've never felt so much love for any other animal in my life. Whenever I visit home, I like to take Cody on hikes and give him baths. He's truly a (wo)man's best friend. Besides hiking in my free time back home, I also take a lot of yoga classes with my mother. Not only do I enjoy yoga, but I know it makes her really happy when I go with her, and that's what really matters. Besides my love for my dog and yoga, I am wildly passionate about succulents. All of my family and friends will tell you that I'm obsessed. I won't deny it either.
